We're proud to service Burien and provide top-class insulation products and services. We place a major emphasis on customer service and the complete satisfaction of our customers.

We're King County's leading home insulation company--and for good reason. We've been providing the best insulation products to the people of King County since 1997. If your home was built before 1980, you may not have adequate insulation at the moment.

You can avoid this by living with family or friends. You could also minimize the wear and tear on your house by staying over at someone's place for weeks without coming home.

Our goal is to work with you to find the best climate solutions for your home - regardless of what type it is. We're experts in King County residences and will make sure you have what you need at a competitive price, regardless of the weather.

Although the climate in this region is diverse with long cold winters and hot humid summers, it is important that all homes are prepared for the conditions that may arise throughout the year. Give us a call to learn more about how we can help you reduce your energy bills while staying comfortable.

Home insulation products are rated by their R-value or their warmth rating. This is the rating provided for how insulating the material is against heat loss and heat transfer. Heat will naturally be moving to colder areas of your home in winter and this could potentially mean that there is a risk of heat transfer and hence that cold air getting into your home.

During summer, heat moves in the opposite direction. It flows from your air-conditioned rooms to the outside, making the inside of your house hotter than it should be. This can lead to high energy consumption and increased costs because your air conditioner has to work harder than it should.

Insulation is an important aspect of any home -- be it new or old. The more insulation you have the lower your energy bills will be. Also, your home will stay more comfortable regardless of the external weather conditions since there's less heat transfer throughout without enough insulation.

Types of Insulation

Spray Foam Insulation Today are your local, licensed providers of insulation services in Burien for your home. Whatever your specific needs are, we can customise an approach that suits you best. For example:

Spray Foam Insulation

Our specialty is spray foam insulation, an excellent insulation product that will work well in many types of homes. It's made up of two safe chemicals that are mixed together and sprayed through a specialized hose.

The foam will expand to over 100x its original volume and foam will completely cover and seal all the cracks & spaces throughout your home’s attic, walls or basement.

Spray foam insulation can make your life a lot easier. It does not deteriorate over time and once installed, it is there to stay. It's flexible and durable enough to last decades. And it can withstand both freezing and hot temperatures. You won't have to worry about it cracking, settling, shifting, or degrading over time.

Free, certified energy audit for your home. Contact us today to see when the next one is scheduled.

An auditor will come to your home and determine whether the insulation in your home is enough to keep you warm all year round. They'll also do an on-site blower test to determine whether leaks in your home need further analysis.

To determine if your home needs insulation, take this quick & simple insulation test to see which areas of your home lack the right thickness. It's important for increasing energy efficiency and can lower your utility bills.

The auditor will come to your home to listen for air leaks and take a detailed look at the duct system. They'll also give you a recommendation on upgrading insulation in order to cut down on heating and cooling costs. To schedule a visit, click below.

Home & Attic Insulation

You may also be interested in upgrading your attic insulation. Our satisfied customers typically choose this because it's the biggest contributor to heat loss.

Batts and Rolls Insulation

Batts and rolls are a cheaper way to increase your attic insulation, meaning you can get R-value protection for less.

Blown-in/Loose-fill Insulation

Blown-in insulation is made of tiny bits of insulating material. When you need to clog gaps or inaccessible areas, or you have inadequate insulation, this is the right choice. They provide great coverage and are lightweight.

They're both great for insulation and can be installed in less than a day.

Rigid Board Insulation

If you're constructing a new building or remodeling an older one, one of the most important decisions is choosing your insulation. Rigid board is perfect for new roofs or unfinished walls, and can also be cut over piping.

For what type of job are you needing insulation? We would be happy to provide you with an estimate for spray foam insulation service or rigid board insulation for your new home or remodeling job.

Facts about the city:

Settlement in the Burien area dates to 1864. French-Canadian George Ouellet (1831 - 1899) was granted his first land patent for a homestead site in the area directly from a United States Government Department.

Ouellet first arrived in Washington Territory at Port Madison on Bainbridge Island near the Kitsap Peninsula.

When Armand Ouellet first moved to the US, he was only about 20 years old and not yet married. He found a home in the Burien area and started a family with his wife Elizabeth Cushner, who was young enough to be his daughter. Together they had one daughter- Antoinette.

A popular local tale tells of a settler named Mike Kelly who gave the community its first name after emerging from the trees and proclaiming "This is truly a sunny dale." Even today, a few long-time residents still refer to the Burien area as Sunnydale.

In 1884, Gottlieb & Emma Burian, German immigrants from Hussinetz Lower Silesia in Germany, who owned two taverns in downtown Seattle, arrived in Sunnydale.

The tiny, undeveloped village had poor roads and negligible commercial buildings. It was reached by trails leading up from the nearest highway.

The town of Burien was first established when Burian built a cabin on the southeast corner of Lake Burien. The town soon grew to be named after him over time. A real estate office was built and it attracted many people, which led to an influx of residents in the area.
