Many homes in Bonney Lake can benefit from getting a free energy audit. This is the first step toward addressing the issue of poor home insulation, which could be why your energy bills are high.
According to the U.S Department of Energy, your home is most likely using more than 50% of its energy for heating or cooling - this is because the insulation in your home isn’t effective enough to keep the heat in. However, there are ways we can ensure that your monthly utility bill remains low like upgrading your home’s insulation with one of our products.
The use of R-values has become popular in assessing the effectiveness of insulation products. They can give an indication of how well a material resists heat loss and transfers. Homes in Bonney Lake may want to install materials with higher values so that they can get better results.
The laws of physics dictate that heat - like cold - circulates towards the areas with cooler temperatures like attics and basements. This will eventually make it out to the exterior of your home where it can escape freely.
During summer, less heat travels into your home because the air is warmer outside. Installing insulation provides a better barrier against this and makes your home more comfortable.
There are lots of different types of insulation products out there, but our prices are very competitive. We’re happy to help you figure out what products will work best for you and your home.
One of our professional home energy auditors will visit you and carry out a blower test, which tells us how your rooms are heated and cooled efficiently. We usually recommend insulation for whichever rooms we find to be most in need of it - unless there's already enough in the room.
Batt insulation is really cheap to install and provides good insulation. This type of insulation can be made out of recycled paper, rock wool, or fiberglass. It comes in many different R-values and provides a lot of value for your money.
However, we advise you to never install this product yourself. It can be difficult to work with, irritate your skin, and can even cause other health problems if done wrong. A professional installation is the only way to go!
This is a type of insulation that's made of small, granular particles. It's blown into the desired space through specialized pipes. The insulation is known so named after how it gets applied- by blowing it in, rather than pouring it in
Blown-in insulation is an alternative to other options, like fiberglass. It's highly effective in many spaces because it can go where fibers can't. Our technicians are highly trained and experienced in this field of work, and can install blown-in insulation within a day.
If you are considering a new construction project or renovations, then this is the best option. It works great for home additions too, by molding around pipes and air ducts. We would love to provide you with a free quote for your project
Bonney Lake residents can now enjoy our special insulation. It is one of the best on the market and will provide unmatched protection against heat & cold.
It’s made up of two types of chemical compounds that are mixed, heated, and finally sprayed through a special pipe. This foam is 100% bio-safe and expands immediately creating a seal that’s airtight and has great insulation properties
You can use foam insulation to create seals between joists & studs, as well as to seal up old walls.
We always recommend that Bonney Lake homeowners use spray foam insulation. This is one of the best ways to make your home cozier and energy-efficient.
Although spray foam can be more expensive than most other types of insulation for the home, it tends to pay off in less than 3 years. This is because it can save you up to 40% per month on your energy bills - which will make the investment worth it.

Bonney Lake was incorporated back in 1949, but the co-op venture to bring electricity & water to locals had failed until Roger Anderson's chance discovery of a nearby artesian well. The City of Bonney Lake & Greater Bonney Lake Historical Society put in 13 historical markers between 2009 and 2015, including one for the Naches Trail. This well-used immigrant & military trail was in use during the later half of the 1800s.
